Message from the Principal

Welcome Back, Arrows!

We are so excited to welcome all of our students and families back for another wonderful school year! Whether you are returning to Preble Shawnee or joining us for the first time, we are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, fun, and memorable experiences.

A very special welcome goes out to our newest learners—our incoming kindergarten students and their families! We cannot wait to see your bright smiles and help you begin this exciting journey. We know starting kindergarten is a big step for both students and families, and we are here to support you every step of the way. We are so happy to have you become part of our Preble Shawnee family!

As we prepare for the start of school, we want to remind families about our Delayed Start. Information regarding the delayed start was sent to families through Final Forms.There was a letter for grades 1-4 and a letter just for KDG. Please take a moment to review that letter so you are familiar with the schedule and expectations for the beginning of the school year. If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to help!

You may also notice that our school website looks a little different this year! We are excited about our new website and are still learning our way around it. As we become more familiar with the new site, we will continue adding information, resources, and updates to make it a helpful resource for our families. We appreciate your patience as we work to build a website that keeps our school community connected and informed.

As we begin another school year, we are grateful for the continued support and partnership of our families. At Preble Shawnee, we are more than a school—we are a family. We support one another, celebrate one another, and work together every day to provide our students with the very best educational experience possible.
